The title song 'Blood Sweat & Tears' captures the conflict and growth of youth who fell into temptation!

BTS releases their 2nd regular album 'WINGS'. Having reached the most beautiful moment of their lives through the 'When My Love Blooms' series, BTS left behind the past and once again stood in front of a new door. 'WINGS', which will be released on October 10th, is a song of boys who are troubled and conflicted by facing temptation for the first time in their lives. The appearance of the seven boys repeating pain and joy is reminiscent of the wings of birds waking up from their eggs and trying to fly.

The title song 'Blood Sweat & Tears' is a song of the Moombahton Trap genre that is gaining popularity in the pop market around the world. The lyrics, such as "Take my blood, sweat and tears," which means everything to me, or "the poisoned chalice that I knew but swallowed" clearly reveal the confused mind of the boy who fell into an irresistible temptation. It well expresses the main theme of the entire 'WINGS' album, which sang about the process of growth, such as the shadow of evil that one must encounter at least once in life and conflicts with others and the outside world.

The boys who met Temptation changed radically from head to toe. Lazy and provocative eyes as if possessed by something, colorful lighting, bedroom and pajamas, soft feathers scattered everywhere, sharp fragments in front of the mirror, and even makeup that emphasizes tangled hair and eyes. In the photo, BTS brilliantly portrays the antinomy visual of a young boy's sexy charm. The albums for each of the four units released for the first time after their debut contain photos showing the perfect chemistry between Jin and all members, J-Hope-V, Suga-Jimin, and Rap Monster-Jungkook, in various versions.

The music video for the title song 'Blood Sweat & Tears', which was filmed on a super-large set, boasts a scale worthy of the name of BTS, which has been reborn as a star loved around the world with the largest amount ever in BTS history. The fast-paced video shows a sensuous production as if the members in the concept photo entered the video as they were. In addition, various elements that appeared in the short film, such as apples, colorful paints, organs, and mirrors, are incorporated throughout the music video, providing a different kind of fun to solve the mystery hidden in the 'WINGS' album. In addition, like BTS, who are famous for their usual performances, this time also added fun to show off their unchanging sharp group dance.

For the first time since their debut in 2013, this album contains individual solo songs of BTS members, adding to the specialness. Solo songs adapted from the autobiographical stories of each member and lyricized were also inserted into a previously released Short Film. A total of seven short films were released for each member, combining cinematic characteristics and theatrical elements, and despite the short length of about 2 to 3 minutes, it showed a high level of visual beauty, raising expectations for a comeback.

Also, in this album, BTS teamed up with super-luxurious staff members at home and abroad. Working with domestic musicians such as Pdogg, “hitman” bang, Slow Rabbit, Supreme Boi, etc., as well as domestic musicians such as Gaeko, Primary, and Filter of the dynamic duo led by Big Hit, as well as Britney Spears, Rihanna, Beyonce, and Justin Bieber. Tricky Stewart from the US participated as a producer and focused on improving the musical perfection. In addition, James F. Reynolds, who worked with Jessie J and Selena Gomez; Jaycen Joshua, who worked with Chris Brown and David Guetta; Grammy Award winner Bob Horn; and Ken Lewis, who mixed Kanye West and Drake's albums. In charge of mixing, 'WINGS' was born as a record-breaking album with the participation of a large number of domestic and foreign hit makers.

1. Intro: Boy Meets Evil
This is the intro song that announces the beginning of 'WINGS'. In the 'School Trilogy' and 'When My Love Blooms' series, Rap Monster and SUGA took over the baton of intro runners, respectively, and j-hope delivers a powerful yet groovy rap. It is a Future Bass genre song based on dark yet jazzy hip-hop, and contains the heart of a boy who met the devil called temptation. The solo dance of j-hope, who is also the representative dancer of BTS, was inserted into the comeback trailer video that drew attention and received an explosive response.

2. Blood Sweat Tears
The title song 'Blood Sweat & Tears' is a song of the Moombahton Trap genre based on reggae, actively reflecting the latest trends such as Dance hall and Moombahton, which are receiving great love in the pop music market. Vocals that focus on sexiness and rapping that is spit out like a mumble presents a different charm that could not be found in the existing BTS music. Rap Monster, SUGA, and j-hope participated in the song work, showing their more mature musical skills, and Jimin and Jungkook's chorus further enriched the addictive melody line. A famous British engineer who was in charge of mixing BTS representative songs such as 'No More Dream', 'I NEED U', 'Dope', 'RUN', 'Fire', including Selena Gomez, Pixie Lott, and Calvin Harris. James F. Reynolds also participated in the mix work for 'Blood Sweat & Tears'.

3. Begin
This is the solo song of Jungkook, the first protagonist of the short film released in September. It was the first to be released among the members' solo songs included in the short film. Future R&B and Tropical House are appropriately combined to create a dreamy and mysterious atmosphere. In the lyrics, such as 'I had nothing at 15' and 'I got feelings because of the hyungs, I became me', Jungkook's feelings about his first meeting with the BTS members are expressed honestly. Among the 7 members' solo songs, this is the most trendy yet unique song, and Jungkook's delicate and emotional vocals stand out.

4. Lie
This is a solo song by Jimin, the second main character of the short film, and was produced by producer and keyboardist Doc Skim, who is active in Seo Taiji Band, and singer-songwriter Sumin. It contains the situation in which he falls deeper and deeper into the mire as he lies and does bad things for the first time, and the agony of a boy struggling to escape from it. The Spanish guitar sound, impactful rhythm track, and cool, melodic vocals are impressive. Jimin's voice, which has a powerful yet soft sensibility at the same time, added to the perfection of the song.

5. Stigma
It is V's solo song in Neo Soul style. Produced by producer Philtre, it was born as a serious yet sophisticated song. It contains the guilt of hurting someone through one's fault, and the story of constant suffering as this becomes a stigma. The heavy piano and impactful brass section harmoniously blend with the sensuous Laid Back rhythm. V's husky vocals, which go back and forth between mid-bass and falsetto, are the highlight of the song.

6. First Love
SUGA's solo song 'First Love', co-produced by SUGA and composer MISS KAY, is a hip-hop song with a piano performance and magnificent string orchestra sound. The song, which starts with a calm rap, becomes more intense towards the second half. As if scenes in a movie are switched, orchestra and rap intersect according to the flow of the lyrics, and the oriental melody of the piano creates a mysterious yet solemn atmosphere. You can get a glimpse of SUGA's childhood story and passion for music, where he first started playing music on the piano.

7. Reflections
This is a PBR&B hip-hop song newly produced by Rap Monster, who showed his first ability as a producer in the special album 'Hwayangyeonhwa Young Forever'. The dreamy synth sound on top of the simple beat catches the ears. In the introduction, an ambience recorded directly in Ttukseom, where Rap Monster often visits, is inserted to form a consensus. Rap Monster, who usually gave intense rapping, maximized the melodious yet vintage atmosphere of the song with a rapping that seemed to be reciting slowly in this song.

8. MAMA
j-hope's solo song 'MAMA' expresses the unique jazzy old school hip hop sensibility of Primary, who participated as a producer. Rhythmic beats, dreamy synths, and DJ Friz's scratches combine to create a unique mood. It is a song that stands out with j-hope's hopeful sensibility and energy. The heartfelt message conveyed by a son who has grown up reliably while looking back on his mother's difficult days is impressive.

9. Awake
This is Jin's solo song that decorates the end of the short film. It is an emotional R&B style song, and Jin took the lead in composing it. 'Awake' is a song sung by a lonely boy wishing to stand alone. It starts with Jin's clear vocals reminiscent of a pure boy, and explodes with explosive emotions as the chorus goes through, as if passing through a gateway to growth. A sweet piano and string melody, British rock-like guitar performance combined with a strong rhythm completed the dramatic atmosphere of the song.

10. Lost
It is a unit song of vocal lines that could only be found in Outro in BTS' albums so far, and Rap Monster participated in the lyrics. The original gaze that expresses the feelings of lost boys by comparing them to 'ants' stands out. You can enjoy the lyrical yet intense energy of BTS that you could feel in 'I NEED U' and 'Save ME'.

11. BTS Cypher 4
Producer Tricky Stewart, who has produced numerous hit songs for superstars around the world, such as Rihanna's 'Umbrella', Beyonce's 'Single Ladies', Justin Bieber's 'Baby', Mariah Carey's 'Touch My Body', etc. made the track, and now one of the most popular mixing engineers in the US, Jaycen Joshua, is in charge of the mix, allowing you to enjoy the latest original hip hop sound in the US. In the Cypher series so far, the focus was on showing the rapping skills of the rapper line, but this time, we focused on conveying the message and style of the song with a little effort.

12. Am I Wrong
Sam Klempner, James F. Reynolds, and Josh Wilkinson, who have worked on mixes on BTS' albums such as 'No More Dream', 'Boy In Luv', 'I NEED U', 'Dope', 'Baepsae', and Save Me' This special came out as a producer for BTS. It is a hip-hop song with a charming country-style guitar and harmonica sound that gives off a sophisticated taste. 'Am I Wrong' contains BTS's candid perspective on the recent world. It is a song that shares the same context as the previously released 'Dope' and 'Baepsae', and the lyrics of Dole Fastball, which candidly pinpoint the stuffy reality, come closer to you.

13. 21st Century Girl
Reminiscent of BTS' early days, '21st Century Girl' is a hip-hop song full of powerful energy and wit unique to BTS. It contains a positive message that we are all beautiful, precious, and worthy of love living in the 21st century. Thanks to the change in sound for each part, there is no time to feel bored, making it feel like the song is over in an instant.

14. Two! three! (I hope there are more good days though)
This is a fan song that BTS, who has entered their 4th year of debut, delivers to their fans. 'two! Three!' is a slogan that has been used since their debut in June 2013 and has a special meaning in connecting BTS and their fans. 'two! 'Three!' contains the story of the past days we went through together and the sincerity that we have not been able to convey to the fans who always give us great strength. Although not all of the instruments and rhythms used are flashy, it is a song that feels warmer than any other song, and you can see BTS' love for their fans.

15. Interlude: Wings
It is a hip house genre song based on a house groove that BTS has never heard before. The strong belief in oneself and the strong will of the boys who want to move forward are expressed by comparing them to wings. Although it is the last song on the album, it is a song that predicts the musical changes that BTS will show in the future, raising expectations for the group's next move and future.
